Ferry ports
At the ferry ports in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) and Macao, you can check in your baggage, get your boarding pass and apply for a refund of the pre-paid Air Passenger Departure Tax Refund (APDT).
Please arrive at the check-in counter at least 60 minutes before your ferry's scheduled departure time for check-in process.
To check in at upstream ferry ports, you must have:
- A valid ferry ticket;
- A valid air ticket with confirmed flight booking for same day travel (including mid-night departures)1;
- A valid travel document and entry / transit visa for your destination if required; and
- Sufficient flight connecting time - arriving at SkyPier 90 minutes before flight departure. For passengers of China Airlines, EVA Airways or All Nippon Airways without airline checked baggage, please reserve 65 minutes2.
- For passengers who do not check in or do not fully check in at upstream ferry ports, the flight connecting time will be 120 mins upon arrival at SkyPier before flight departure.
1 Self-printed boarding pass holders are required to obtain an official boarding pass from the airline counters at the upstream ports.
2 More flight connecting time will be required for passengers holding a self-printed boarding pass.
